The National Baptist Church of Pakistan (NBCP) is deeply committed to the spiritual nurturing of children through its Sunday School Ministry. Recognizing that young hearts are fertile ground for the Word of God, NBCP actively organizes Sunday School programs in all of its churches, aiming to instill biblical values, moral integrity, and a love for Jesus Christ from an early age.

This need is more accentuated in Pakistan (A predominantly Muslim state) as Christian children studying in Muslim schools do not receive Bible Education as a part of their curriculum while Muslim students receive Quranic and Islamic Education. Hence NBCP takes it as its direct responsibility to provide Christian teaching to Christian children from their early childhood. As Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it,” NBCP ensures that its children receive a strong spiritual foundation.
Sunday School teachers are trained to teach age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, memory verses, and lessons on Christian character, helping children understand God’s love, the life of Jesus, and how to live out their faith. These classes are also a platform for children to learn how to pray, worship, and participate in church life.
In areas where literacy is low, NBCP utilizes creative, visual, and oral teaching methods to make lessons more accessible and engaging. The ministry also distributes illustrated Bible storybooks, coloring materials, and scripture-based activity guides, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
By focusing on discipleship from childhood, NBCP is preparing the next generation of Christian leaders, missionaries, and faithful believers. Sunday School is not merely a program—it is a mission field of its own, raising up future bearers of the Gospel. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven,” NBCP strives to welcome and lead every child into a relationship with Christ.
