Pakistan Interfaith League (PIL) is the socio-political wing of NBCP. It is a socio-political movement that unites a diverse network of individuals, including religious scholars, clerics, political activists, journalists, lawyers, academics, students, civil society members, and corporate professionals. Its primary focus is to promote interfaith harmony, peace, and collective wisdom across all sectors of society.
Founded on the principle that Pakistan’s identity—as symbolized by its national flag—represents unity, not division, PIL rejects distinctions based on majority or minority status. Instead, it champions the equal treatment of all citizens, emphasizing human dignity and equality as the foundation of a just society.
PIL firmly believes that individuals of different religious backgrounds should not be labeled as minorities but recognized as equal citizens of Pakistan. They should have the freedom to participate and compete in all spheres of national life without bias, discrimination, or exclusion. These citizens are not outsiders—they are Pakistanis, proud of their heritage and eager to contribute to the nation’s future.
PIL envisions a shift in societal mindsets by fostering equality for the most vulnerable groups in society, including religious minorities, marginalized communities, women, senior citizens, people with disabilities, and the oppressed.
