The first Zoom Class was successfully held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, marking a significant milestone in I-LAP-US’s virtual training initiative. The session was led by Rev. Lester Bollinger and Mr. Sajid Sandhu from the I-LAP-US office in Louisville, KY, and was simultaneously translated into Urdu by Rev. Rufus Khokhar, who joined from the United Arab Emirates.
The class began with a warm welcome from Mr. Sajid Sandhu, who emphasized the importance of the training and its role in equipping church leaders for effective ministry and evangelism. This was followed by a round of introductions from participants representing Islamabad, Karachi, and the UAE. Mr. Sandhu also invited each participant to share their expectations from the training, encouraging a spirit of openness and mutual learning from the very beginning.
Participants included pastors, lay leaders, evangelists, and youth workers, all eager to learn and grow in their understanding of Scripture and leadership.
Rev. Bollinger delivered an inspiring teaching session and the participants engaged actively, asking thoughtful questions and sharing testimonies from their local ministries. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual enthusiasm and unity, reflecting a shared commitment to Gospel-centered growth.
The session concluded with a time of prayer, thanksgiving, and encouragement, as participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect across continents. Many shared their excitement for the upcoming classes and pledged to invite more leaders from their networks.
Plans are now underway for the next training session, with a growing anticipation for deeper learning, mutual support, and strategic collaboration among believers from different regions.
